After getting to know Suzie, I shared with her my struggles to get pregnant, as well as a miscarriage I recently experienced… I received treatment from her for fertility for about four months and before I knew it, I had a viable pregnancy! "I had suffered from migraines for years and needed to go off my medication before starting a family."
I have suffered from severe migraines for over 10 years of my life. To help control them I was placed on a serotonin–norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). The SNRI was successful at helping to keep my migraines at bay but when my husband and I decided it was time to grow our family I needed to stop taking this daily medication. To avoid having the migraines reappear I turned to acupuncture and began working with Suzie. I am excited to report that after only a few months of acupuncture I was able to ween off the SNRI without the return of severe migraines. Suzie treated me throughout my pregnancy journey with such great success that I decided not to start the SNRI again (11 months post pregnancy) and instead remain under her care. Not only does acupuncture help prevent my migraines it allows me time to destress. Acupuncture treatment is one of the few places where I can truly turn my mind off and completely relax.
